Independent Security Audit Coming Soon for Trust.Zone V2

21 octobre 2026

As you may know, we recently launched Trust.Zone V2, with major updates to both our apps and server architecture. We’ve added support for modern protocols such as AmneziaWG, VLESS, Trojan and Shadowsocks, along with more control over how customers use their VPN.

Smart Tunneling lets customers choose which apps and websites use the VPN and which connect directly. Other additions include DNS provider selection, server latency testing, Cloudflare WARP and Handshake Fragmentation for challenging networks. Protocol and feature availability varies by platform.

Behind these features is a substantially reworked server architecture built to support the new protocols. As networks change and VPN restrictions become more complex, we’re continuing to develop Trust.Zone to give customers more ways to stay connected.

Our next step is an independent security audit. We’re preparing for a review by an established cybersecurity company with experience auditing VPN software. An outside team will examine V2, look for potential security weaknesses and help us identify anything our own testing may have missed.

The audit is expected to take around three months. Once it’s complete, the auditing company will publish its report on its own website, and we’ll make it available on the Trust.Zone website too. Customers will be able to read the findings directly and learn about any changes we make in response.

We’ll share further updates here on our blog.
