Military-Grade Encryption AES-256 is supported by Trust.Zone

1 July 2024

Did you know that Trust.Zone support the latest Military-Grade Encryption algorithm - AES-256 encryption?

 What’s an AES encryption?

AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is one of the strongest encryption algorithms used in symmetric key cryptography.   AES supports different key lengths of 128, 192, and 256 bit key lengths. The longer the key length the stronger and more difficult the encryption will be to break into. AES-256 is strongest among them.  AES became the replacement for 3DES and DES. Previous encryption algorithms were found to be weak and breakable.

Why AES-256 is Safe?

AES256 is a symmetrical encryption algorithm. It is otherwise known as “military-grade encryption”  because  it is adopted by the U.S. and Canadian governments as standards for encrypting transited data and data at rest. Because of the 256-Bits length of the key and the number of hashes (14), it takes a long time for a hacker to perform a dictionary attack

As for now, there are no known practical attacks that would allow anyone to read correctly implemented AES encrypted data.
