How to Set up a VPN connection for Mac OS X with L2TP/IPSec. Trust.Zone VPN Manual

Step 1

Click on "System Preferences…".

Step 2

In the section "Internet & Wireless" click on "Network".

Step 3

Click on "+".

Step 4

Click on the "Interface" dropdown menu and choose "VPN"

Click on the "VPN Type" dropdown menu and choose "L2TP over IPSec"

Set the Service Name to "Trust.Zone-VPN", then click on "Create".

Set as "Server Address": vpn.trust.zone. Under "Account Name" enter HIDDEN. Log in or Sign up to see.. Afterwards click on "Authentication Settings…".

Under "Password" enter HIDDEN. Log in or Sign up to see.. The "Shared Secret" is: trustzone.
Afterwards click on "OK".

Step 7

Click on "Advanced...".

Step 8

Check "Send all traffic over VPN connection". Then click on "OK".

Click on "Apply".

Click on "Connect".

Step 11

If connection has been successfully established, the status is shown in the menu bar. You can manage your VPN connection in the network settings.

Connection check

Open Trust.Zone Main page or reload it if it is already open in order to check if your connection with Trust.Zone VPN is established correctly.
